8:56pm I HAVE A COVER!! I can't say that enough today. I have a cover. My cover by the wonderful and extremely talented Anne Cain was approved and is even now being posted everywhere that I can get it. Crissy has already uploaded it to the Samhain site and I am making the rounds letting everyone know. I got my edits yesterday and I plan to work very hard on them tomorrow and get them finished and sent back. That'll end my obligation except to find an excerpt (or two) and make my book page on Bebo. Once that's over with it's on to my WIP that I will finish and get submitted. I have sooooo many plans for this cover (promo postcards, bookmarks, posters,etc). I'm going to go broke and I'm not that upset about it so long as everyone knows that my book is coming out 10 July 2007! |

3:28pm You know, this is usually when I archive the old and start the new, but I hardly did anything last month to really archive. So, I'm leaving April and May together. Hopefully more will happen this month. Now, on to the stuff that DID happen: 1 - I am now listed on Samhain Publishing's Coming Soon list. I love the revamp they did on my book blurb--much, much better than mine. 2 - I am the proud owner of both a Bebo and a MySpace page. I have decided to keep my official blog on MySpace until I find something better. Once I'm feeling up to it, I'll register with Ning, though currently Bebo is my favorite. 3 - Odelle was ousted from the first round of books in favor of Kashmir. Originally, Kashmir was the introductory book for the Conclave Universe, but I didn't like how the story was going and back-burner'd it. As of last week, I figured out my prob with the story and I'm very close to finishing. However, I'm distracted with Adrienne (still doing the editting process) so can't really focus on it the way that I want. But, Kashmir is now my next WIP and Eris will be after--which is good since I have to do some research for Eris before I can feel comfortable writing it. That's all that has happened. Now, on to what will happen: I plan to revamp the site. I liked it when I first did it, but it's time for a change. I'm getting with Liz to get some new images of Sekhmet done and then I'll dazzle everyone with my limited coding skills. Until then, bear with me and don't be too frustrated at the lack of content. |

11:33am My editor (from Samhain) said yes to Serenity last night. I would have posted about it then, but I didn't want to be bothered with messing with this page. I still have edits to work on (and boy am I working). But the news for the day is that Serenity is contracted!! |

2:25pm First post of the new month and all I can say is... I GOT MY EDITS!! ::ahem:: Anyway. I got my first round of edits for Adrienne. I plan to stay up as long as I can and get them done. I will go to sleep when I start feeling tired so I don't make stupid mistakes, but I don't think that'll happen. :) |
