Okay, it's after work. I'm not screwing with that image map today. I would like to actually write instead of mess with this page.

BUT, I still want people to get to Adrienne without having to go thru this page. Solution: put up a page that leads to my books. I only have one book at the moment. The book page is coming (when I feel like coding it and figure out how I want it to look), but it isn't needed right away since I only have one book.

I tweaked a few little things and changed some images. Teri said the site was a little confusing (and it is... sorry... that whole reach and grasp thing). To make it a little easier, I changed the eyes so that you don't have to sit the mouse on top of them and wait and wait and wait for the little text to show up. It's part of the mouseover now just like the planets. Also, (I'm sure you noticed) the eyes are at the top of the page and they stare at you while you decide what you want to click on.

The link image to the book page (located near the bottom, below the planets) is the Japanese kanji for "book", pronounced hon (with a long "o" not the endearment you use for your significant other). I couldn't think of a better image than that and it's appropriate.

OK, so I did something stupid. I assumed, since the the site looked okay in Firefox, that it looked okay in IE. WRONG! My image map doesn't work and these stupid scroll bars appear on the page. YUCK! I'll have to fix it after work. That means I have to redo the stupid map with a smaller image. Well, the up side is that I didn't do the whole map yet, just Ulan. *groan*

Just went to make sure the site was okay and noticed that the site map for Bron wasn't there. I spent a half hour fixing it... I think. It's it's not fixed, then I'll have to futz with it tomorrow. :)

I spent another five minutes trying to make this table do what I wanted. Ahhh, it's all coming back to me. Now, I remember why I stopped coding in the first place. *sigh*

Bet you're wondering why there's no FAQ page. Well, you're looking at it. I decided that a FAQ was kind of stupid... I mean, that's what my Author Info page is for (not that there's much on it... I'm working on it darn it!)

So, the FAQ got turned into What's New. This let's you know what's changed on the site and when I changed it. Not to mention, it'll let you know what's going on with my manuscripts and the like.

In other words, check back here if you want to know about updates on upcoming books.

Spent hours and hours trying to make this site do what I wanted. It sort of did and here's the results:

• I moved my links to a page of their own (don't you just love the blinking eyes? I know I do).
• The other blinking eye is my FAQ page. Nothing note worthy on it.
• I added a link map to the Bron page. But, the only link is to Ulan. I'll get the other kingdoms added at a later date. They aren't that important right now, anyway.
• I also added an info page for Adrienne. It's a simple page with the synopsis and publishing info. It'll be updated when I know more.
• I have a Coming Soon page that will be used as a place holder. That way people know which universes are getting books and a rough idea of how many (there's method in my madness, I swear).
