What's Old - March 2007
This page is left over from the old format. I didn't see a reason to update it since it's a little nostalgic.

Serenity is SUBMITTED!!  I sat down and ran thru the edits and changes my beta readers suggested, then I pounded out a synopsis and got that bad boy sent off to my editor.

The beta readers have spoken... THEY LOVED IT!  But, besides that, they also pointed out some little things that I need to fix.  So, I'm about to start the beta edits.  I have got my logline and book blurb written.  All I need is to implement a few changes on my manuscript and write the synopsis and it's off to Samhain.  :)  Wish me luck.

Serenity has passed to my beta readers.  I'm not sure how long it will take them to read it (hopefully not too long).  While they read, I plan to write the synopsis and get Serenity ready for submission.

I'M FINISHED!!!  I finished Serenity.  I'm very happy and extremely tired.  :)  But, it's all good.  I want to do one final read thru and then I plan to hand it over to my beta readers.

I changed my author bio page.  I like this a little better.  I added a contact form (which is on the author bio page), but I'm not totally sure that it works (read - use at your own risk).  I did a test email and it still hasn't arrived yet.  Test email arrived.  It works fine.

As you can probably tell, the What's New page got shorter.  I have archived past news.  I'll archive by month.  That'll keep the page from being so long.

I actually connected the Books link to the Book Info page instead of the blurb for Adrienne.  I decided it was time since I have officially finished the red ink edits of my second manuscript.  Red ink edits = I print out the entire manuscript and edit it with a red pen (very reminiscent of high school).  I then implement those edits in the actual computer file.  I'm hoping to have the edits implemented and the manuscript off to my beta readers by next weekend.

And sorry to IE users who have tried to use the Bron image map.  It doesn't work in IE for some reason and I don't feel like figuring out why just yet.  I did add a text link menu that is permanent on the off chance that the image doesn't load for some reason.  The image works fine in Firefox, however.  I suggest switching over.  :)

Suddenly, I realize, I need a banner so people can link to my site.  Duh!  I made two.  They're on my Links page.  The lovely art is supplied by Liz from Imaginator Central.

PS - I was added to Samhain's Author Page.  I don't have a blurb yet (on their site, there is one on mine), but at least I have an author page.  :)

I had to go thru and change my ticker on the main page and the page for Adrienne because my publication date change to 10July2007 instead of 03July2007.  It's only a week later, so I'm not too broke up about it.

My next manuscript is coming along nicely.  I've entered the second part of the drafting phase.  That means I've printed it out and started to attack it with a red ink pen.  There's something about having the printed page that helps me catch things better than on the computer screen (like missed punctuation or a misspelled word that spell check ignored, etc).
