Writing Advice: Query Letters & Pitches

NOOOOO! It’s the dreaded Q word. *runs screaming into the night*

Okay, now that you got that out of your system, let’s do this thing. I’m going to make writing query letters easier than you can ever imagine (or harder, if you are just stubborn like that).

There is an agent named Noah Lukeman who has decided to write a few books to help out authors, and other agents, in writing query letters that get attention:

READ THIS BOOK!

It’s not very long and it gets to the point.

If you plan to query at any point in your career, then you need to read this book. It will help. Not only will it help your query on paper but it will help your verbal pitch. All the preparation you put into the query can be used as the intro to your pitching session with an agent/editor.

Mr. Lukeman also has other great reads (free and paid) on his site that are of interest. Give his site a looksie: http://www.noahlukeman.com/
