*Imagine the chorus in “Another One Bites the Dust”*
That pretty much sums it up.
Bi’ding Her Time is ms #3 Samhain has rejected. The first is a memory until I can figure out what I want to do with the plot. The second was invited back after a re-working of some points of concern. For me that means re-write the whole thing (that’s not what they mean, but that’s the way it has to be), which I’ve already started.
The point — once a book submitted for an anthology has been rejected it can no longer be submitted to Samhain, at all.
I knew that going in and was prepared with Plan B. But, after reading the rejection letter, I came up with a Plan C. I’m purposefully not explaining either until I pick a course of action (a trick I learned from my mother — never give away too much info prematurely).
I’m going to run with Plan C and see if it pans out. If so, I’ll inform the world once it’s finished. If not, then there’s still Plan B.
