We did it!!
The hubby and I signed for our house last night. We are officially home owners.
You know, all those people who said there would be a huge stack of papers were a little off. It wasn’t that much. I was expecting to be signing for well over two hours. It barely took one hour and my hand wasn’t even cramped. *shrug*
Now that we own the house, it’s time to get the locks changed, get new toilet seats, add a bi-fold door to the kitchen, apply for the first-time home buyer tax credit, buy some new stuff for the house and get moved. By the beginning of November, we’ll be officially living in our new house.
