It’s the Cha-Cha [Am Writing]

One… two… cha-cha-cha… three… four… cha-cha-cha. Writing is all about give and take. Deyani is currently at 8,267 words. Those are new words. I’m mostly scrapping the 11,236 words I’d written prior to putting my focus on this novel.

There are tidbits in there I’ll keep, but I changed the plot and character interactions, so it all had to go. Such is the nature of books. I blame my current obsession with Chinese period harem dramas. Wanting a little of that palace intrigue in Deyani meant changing pretty much everything so it fits. Good changes though. The story makes more sense now.
